  • How long does each portrait take?
As a rule of thumb I can draw one person portraits in about 9-10 minutes and two person portraits in about 15 minutes.
  • Will you draw everyone
Unless it’s a fairly intimate wedding (under 50 people), I probably won’t be able to illustrate every single guest. Even if there were time, not all guests will want to take part. You can ensure the VIP guests, who you really want drawn, get the chance with skip the queue tokens. As a rule of thumb I can draw one person portraits in about 9-10 minutes and two person portraits in about 15 minutes. Plus a little time for talking to the guests and managing the list.
  • How does it work?
I photograph and take the details of those wanting portraits and compile a waiting list. I work from photographs so no need for guests to hang about waiting. I'm happy to chat to guests but find working in a way that doesn't require guests to wait enables more portraits to be completed and guests the freedom mingle. As each portrait is completed it is displayed in the gallery for all guests to enjoy. Guests are encouraged to pick up their portraits at the end of the evening.
  • Can we have a copy of the portraits?
Absolutely! The joy of working digitally means that I provide my hosts with a full set of portraits in a gift box at the end of the day. It also means that I can print out extra copies for friends so that each person can have a copy and as many people as possible can take home an art work.
  • What do you need on the day?
I will need a table and chair and access to power near the pop up gallery which should be about 3 metres wide and a small table. While working I’m able to be wire free and move around to interact with your guests inside or outside. Because I work digitally the process is mess free.
  • Whats to process for booking?
You contact me with your date, location and requirements, and I reply with a quote and availability. The prices on my site are guidelines only and may be adjusted according to travel requirements, timing etc. If you’re happy with the quote, I send over a contract which you sign and send me a 20% deposit by Paypal or bank transfer. This secures the booking. Nearer the wedding date I’ll contact you to check in (and your venue if need be), and get more details about who and what you want my artwork to focus on. You pay me the remaining balance the week before the wedding.
  • Do you do destination weddings?
Yes! I love a destination wedding. If you are looking to book me for a non UK wedding please give me as much detail as possible when you inquire so that I can provide an accurate quote.
